Jeanine's Apple Pie


6-8 apples
3/4 cup sugar
2 T flour
1/2 t cinnamon
dash salt
dash nutmeg
1 t lemon juice
2 T butter

Single Crust

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup shortening
7 T cold water

Bake at 450 degrees for about 13 min.


Double Crust

2 cups flour
1 t salt
2/3 cup shortening
7-10 T cold water

Bake at 450 for 10 minutes and 350 for 60 minutes
